FEMALES

Lanark's Isadora

The daughter of Peruvian Pizarro, Isadora has proven
time and again to be a strong and healthy mother.
She has always exhibited good health and stamina
and is one of our best mothers in terms of birthing,
milk production and cria care.  Her 2004 cria, Pelo
de Oro, won a 3rd place ribbon for his fleece at the
Estes Park Wool Market and has moved on to
Pennsylvania where he has produced quality
offspring for Terrace Mt. Alpacas.  And take a look at
the fleece on Cobre, Isadora's '07 son.  All that said,
we have retired Isadora, and she is enjoying her
days munching hay and not having to tend babies.

    DOB:  10/20/1996           ARI#:  180807
Dam:  Colette Codi         Sire:  Peruvian Pizzaro

                     Sweet Louise

Purchased from So Fine Alpacas in 2007, we
were thrilled to see Louise's first cria, bay black
Tall Black Coffee, hit the ground this past fall
    (accomplished flawlessly without anyone around
to help, we might add).  "Bean" is big boned and
loaded with fleece. See what Louise can add to
your herd - check out her gray lineage through
both her dam and sire. She is a big strong girl
with dense fleece and is an excellent mother.

The Alpaca Herd

                                       Milagro Magnolia

Magnolia, "Maggie", is the full Peruvian daughter of our farm's original
foundation female, Sweet Megan, now deceased, and full Peruvian herd sire
Jolimont Gold Dust. Just like her siblings, Maggie has impressive staple length
and beautiful lustre. She has just produced a truly lovely boy from our Xanadu
Peruvian P. Panache.  So far, Spin This has curls and personality to spare.
Maggie's half brother, Milagro San Pedro, took first place in his full fleece
halter class at the 2007 New Mexico State Fair Alpaca Show. Maggie is a
healthy, curious girl who would do well with a rebreeding to Panache.

    DOB:  6/4/2007               ARI#:  30582705
Dam:  Sweet Megan         Sire:  Jolimont Gold Dust
                            Milagro Lily

Milagro Lily is out of our Megan and Jolimont Gold Dust.  She is still a
little young for breeding, her second birthday being in June.  Her
fleece is beautiful, and her personality is one anyone would want in
their barn - extremely friendly but not pushy.  If I can bring myself to
sell her, she will be offered with a breeding to Panache or Antero.

"Bean" is a beautiful true black female.  She will be
two years old in October of '10 and so is not yet
ready for breeding.  In the meantime we are
enjoying working with her gorgeous fleece!
She is out of Antero and Sweet Louise.
